This morning was bittersweet as Matthew said goodbye, and my friends and I were off to Nerja. This morning Matthew and I were up at 6:30am, his taxi was scheduled to arrived at 7:45am. He packed up his last minute things and I got my stuff ready to Nerja. It still did not feel like his last day here.
He said goodbye to Rafa and Marisa, and then Marisa, Matthew, and I walked downstairs to wait for the taxi. We were expecting to wait at least a few minutes, but the taxi had already arrived. So it was a quick goodbye hug, Marisa was tearing up a bit, and Matthew was off. Just like that. Can't believe we are done!
I hung around for a few minutes to talk to Marisa because I knew she was feeling a little sad. She said the house would be pretty lonely this weekend without Matthew and I around. After a few minutes, I left to go meet Jo and Val and we caught the 2 hour bus to Nerja! I was feeling so car sick the last 30 minutes, which makes me so nervous to fly next Saturday. Hoping everything goes well :)
Nerja...what a beautiful place! My fifth time being here, and every time I just love it more and more. We arrived at about 11am, walked around a bit, checked into our hostel, and spend the rest of the day at the beach. Our hostel is awesome! So clean, just like a hotel with our private bathroom and three beds. Very very nice and so cheap!

Down below was our view from the beach all day!
Eventually, we stopped for lunch at the same place Matthew and I ate at with his parents. Then...back to the beach for more sun :) This was our wonderful view of the sea from our lunch balcony. Just gorgeous!
Later, Jo and I decided to take some fun pictures with our sorority spirit jersey's :) BIG and LITTLE forever!
Tomorrow we will have the ENTIRE day for the beach. Can't wait!
PS. Late tonight I found out that Matthew never made it back home. Turns out, when he arrived this morning at the Granada airport, they didn't have a ticket for him. His mom had changed it a while ago, but they still didn't have him on record. He ended up staying in Granada all day today and leaves tomorrow, same time. He had plane trouble when he first came to Granada 9 months ago...and now again. Oh well. At least he's safe and tomorrow night he will be home :)
