Today I had two tests and I though my brain was going to explode! SO. MUCH. INFORMATION. So glad they are over with! Only one more tomorrow and I'm freeeeeeeee :)
My first test today was Culture of Spain. I spent so much time memorizing and memorizing all the eight fiestas, the dates, and the most important things about each. I also memorized all about the gypsies, all eight of their aspirations, all these vocabulary words. Well, none of that was on the test like she said. We only had to write about three fiestas and three vocab words. And I couldn't remember a simple answer for "What are the origins of Flamenco dancing?" Oh. Man. I spent too much time on the other stuff I thought would be more important because she had told us those would be on the test. But, hopefully I can pull an A. I'm now convinced that all my professors are just out to trick us :P
After my fist exam, I had about a two hour break, so I walked around town for a while and then came back to the school to study. That test, for Writing and Speaking, actually went really well! My favorite part was of course the writing portion. We had to write a letter to a friend who wants to study abroad in our city and tell them about all the things they would be able to do there.
When I finished with that exam, I met up with Jo and Val, and we made our way to meet up with Ashley, Matthew, and Laurence for lunch. Laurence invited us to lunch because she leaves Saturday for France. Ashley leaves tomorrow, and Matthew leaves Friday. Everyone is leaving...so sad :(
But we had a wonderful time together and I'm glad all of us were able to hang out together one last time.
Tomorrow Matthew, Ashley, and I have our last exams! So happy! Ashley and I have the same exam tomorrow, Culture of South America!!
